Total Solar Eclipse - August 21, 2017

On August 21, 2017, it is estimated that several hundreds of thousands of people will converge on Eastern Idaho in an effort to get one of the best views of the "Great American Eclipse." This could very well be a once in a lifetime experience for many of us. However, much planning is need to ensure the health and safety of our residents and visitors.

With all of the people and community events surrounding the eclipse, EIPH's Environmental Staff have developed a guidance document to assist in the planning efforts related to food vendors, sanitation/sewage disposal, solid waste disposal, and drinking water.
