Fit and Fall Proof Program

Class Schedules Resources

Functional fitness is the primary theme for the Fit and Fall Proof™ Program in Idaho. It is a group activity program designed for older adults who want to improve their health and reduce their risk of falling.

Our Goals
The goals of Fit and Fall Proof are to enable older adults to: active elderly man

  • Maintain an independent, freely functioning life.
  • Improve muscular strength.
  • Improve flexibility, helping older adults to reach and to bend.
  • Increase balance and improve posture.
  • Improve mobility, endurance, and walking gait.

Fit and Fall Proof Classes
Fit and Fall Proof classes are led by certified volunteers who have received training and instruction on exercise techniques and personal safety. Fit and Fall Proof classes are held on a regular basis at multiple locations throughout Eastern Idaho. Class participation is FREE and open to all interested older adults.
